Watched the most awaited Man Of Steel today.
I must say that the movie is mind blowing. Simply superb. Zack
Snyder, Christopher Nolan and David Goyar have
created a masterpiece. The term MIDAS TOUCH comes into
picture again. It is once again proved that Christopher Nolan
makes Gold wherever he touches !!!
Excellent story is the plus point of the movie. In fact, excellent
story has built up a strong foundation for the movie. Followed by
the superb acting by Russell Crowe as Jor-El, Henry
Cavill as Clark Kent/ Kal-El/ Superman and Michael
Shannon as General Zod has built up strong pillars for the
movie and last but not the least.... the class apart special effects
and action sequences completes the movie to the fullest.
Story starts gripping the viewer's mind
right from start. Movie explains the birth of Superman on planet
Krypton, how his life is at stake and how he is sent to earth in a
very nice manner. I actually felt like I am on planet Krypton and I
am witnessing the era of superman there. Simply brilliant. Later on
as and when Clark grows on earth with Mr. And Mrs. Kent's family, he
gradully starts feeling like he is not an ordinary child. A child
with super human powers. People nearby him get surprised (and
sometimes fear) after witnessing his super human powers. Clark's
father on earth Mr. Kent always tell him not to use his super human
powers as Clark has to pretend to be one of them (humans). But he
also explains him one more thing very nicely...
“I believe that you are sent
here for a reason and even if it takes rest of your
life, you owe to yourself to find out what that reason is.”
And there starts Clark's journey to find out who he is and from where
he originates. Who is General Zod and why Zod is after him. There are
few brilliant lines said about superman and his super human powers in
the movie. Those perfectly suit him...
“How do you find someone who
has spent a lifetime covering his tracks. For some, he was a guardian
angel. To others, a ghost who never quit fit in.”
There are spectacular special effects throughout the movie and mind blowing action sequences after the interval. Superman's fight (even though a little stretched than required) to save earth from General Zod's attack with the help of Millitary forces and the Daly Planet reporter Amy Adams as Lois Lane have been a pleasure to watch.
Overall I must say that its indeed a very much entertaining movie. GO FOR IT !!!
