Moto E (1st Gen) - Android 5.1 Lollipop Update To Come soon as Soak Testing Begins

 

Yes. You heard it write. Its indeed a good news for Motorola fans. According to David Schuster who is Senior Director, SW Product Management, Motorola Mobility; Moto E 1st Generation will get Android 5.1 Lollipop soon.

David also mentioned that Motorola has started the Android 5.1 Lollipop upgrade soak test for Moto E (1st Gen) for the retail version in the following countries: 

• Australia
• France
• Hong Kong
• India
• Indonesia
• Kuwait
• Malaysia
• New Zealand
• Oman
• Qatar
• Saudi Arabia
• Singapore
• United Arab Emirates

All of this is a clear indication that Motorola will soon be releasing Android 5.1 for Moto E (1st Gen). Lets hope the soak test ends with positive results soon so that Moto E owners can enjoy android 5.1 Lollipop !!!
