Galaxy Note GT-N7000 (the first ever device in the Note series) can have Android KitKat and that too 4.4.4  !! Omni ROM developers have merged Android 4.4.4 related changes and now they have started providing Android 4.4.4 KitKat. It came as a sweet surprise from the developers. Three cheers to them. As a user, I am using Omni ROM since long time now and I am really very happy with the performance of the Omni ROM. Omni ROM developers have merged Android 4.4.3 related changes and now they have started providing Android 4.4.3 KitKat in their nightly builds.  It came as a sweet surprise from the developers. Three cheers to them. I have immediately downloaded and installed the update.  I have not faced any issues as such after installing the update. Overall, I am happy with the performance.
