Galaxy Note GT-N7000 (the first ever device in the Note series) can have Android KitKat and that too 4.4.4  !! Omni ROM developers have merged Android 4.4.4 related changes and now they have started providing Android 4.4.4 KitKat. It came as a sweet surprise from the developers. Three cheers to them. As a user, I am using Omni ROM since long time now and I am really very happy with the performance of the Omni ROM. Omni ROM developers have merged Android 4.4.3 related changes and now they have started providing Android 4.4.3 KitKat in their nightly builds.  It came as a sweet surprise from the developers. Three cheers to them. I have immediately downloaded and installed the update.  I have not faced any issues as such after installing the update. Overall, I am happy with the performance.

Google has recently introduced a new camera app in Play Store. Its the Google Camera App. Alongwith camera and video, it provides options such as Panorama, Photosphere and Lense Blur to shoot photos. I must say this is the much awaited app which is now out. iOS 7.1.1 update is now out. I have iPad Mini 2 (Retina Display) and I am now on the latest version.   When I searched for software updates from settings menu; I got the below list of features/bug fixes, Further improvements to Touch ID fingerprint recognition. Fixes a bug that could impact keyboard responsiveness. Fixes an issue when using Bluetooth keyboards with VoiceOver enabled.
