Good news. It looks like work on CyanogenMod 14 (CM14) for Moto G 2nd Generation 3G is under progress. I found below link on XDA Developer forums. http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/q/status:merged+luk    Check the list. There is a merge log for a Motorola model named TITAN. Its the code name of Moto G 2nd generation. The news about the CM14 preparatory work is really a delightful one. For the users who are using rooted Moto G 2nd Gen phones, this news certainly gives a ray of hope that they may receive Android 7.0 Nougat based CyanogemMod .  

I recently rooted my Moto G 2014 and installed Resurrection Remix ROM . I must say that its a great ROM. Thanks to the developer of the ROM for such a smooth and stable ROM.
