Smart Capture Feature for Android 4.2.2 Camera ( take snap without touching the screen )
I recently installed Android 4.2.2 JellyBeer build 4.32 on my Galaxy Note GT-N7000. One very much noticeable feature which I liked a lot is Smart Capture functionality of camera app. Using this functionality, it is possible to take photos without touching the screen.
The feature uses proximity sensor to sense the hand movements. Just put hand in front of proximity sensor while camera app is open and there you go.
The camera settings menu also provides other very nice options such as Persistant Handsfree, TrueView too. This is indeed a very nice improvement to camera functionality.

Does this also work for Sprint S3
ReplyDeleteYou need to check XDA Developer Forums for the same. My galaxy note is rooted and this camera is a part of the aosp/cm10 based rom which I am running on note.
