Android System Backups - How to take backup using TWRP Recovery

Recovery Console plays a vital role in managing the Android ROM you are running on your phone. One of the important tasks of the recovery console is taking a backup of the Android System.

In case of any issues or corruption of the Operating System, it will be definitely possible to restore the phone to the consistent state using the backup taken through custom recovery.

The video below shows my attempt to take a backup of Android System using TWRP Recovery. TWRP is a short form of Team Win Recovery Project. I am currently using a rooted Galaxy Note GT-N7000 running C-ROM.

Android 4.2.2 on Galaxy Note GT-N7000 - Touchwiz UI look and feel for AOSP / CyanogenMod based Stock / Custom ROMS

I am running AOSP/CM10.1 Android 4.2.2 based custom rom on my Galaxy Note GT-N7000. Note is rooted with ClockWorkMod Recovery installed. I wanted to have look and feel of TouchWiz UI on the rom. I started searching on internet for the same. Even though I am not fond of TouchWiz framework (due to heavy resource consumption), I do like the graphics provided by TouchWiz.
