BQ launching UBUNTU phones Aquaris E4.5 and E5 in India exclusively via Snapdeal

Yes. Its indeed damn amazing news for every UBUNTU fan in India. BQ Aquaris E4.5 and E5 smartphones are releasing by August end in India as mentioned by Ubuntu Insights. This is a proud moment for every Indian fan of Ubuntu. I am eagerly waiting for the launch of the smartphones. I am planning to buy BQ Aquaris E5. 

I feel Pure Ubuntu edition is definitely having a Android and iOS killer User Interface. Its more elegant than android and more functional than windows phone.

The devices will be available for purchase from Snapdeal by end of August at a price of Rs 11,999 for the Aquaris E4.5 and Rs 13,499 for the Aquaris E5.

Both handsets being sold through Snapdeal in India come with all the same great Scopes available on the European Editions along with a new ones created especially with Indian users in mind. Some of the new Scopes on offer include Zomato, Star Plus, Zee TV, Eros Now, NDTV and Times of India.

As a die hard Ubuntu fan, I am going to buy the Ubuntu phone for sure. I already have one desktop and 2 laptops and all of them run on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Trusty Tahr. All these machines are almost 4 to 5 years old and the Ubuntu installations run fabulously smooth on these machines. In addition, its not necessary to purchase any Antivirus subscription as Linux itself is robust, secure and free from viruses. Ubuntu phone will be added in the list of my gadgets for sure.
