Movie Review - Drishyam
And
yes.... director Nishikant Kamat does it again. DRISHYAM is a
masterpiece which everyone should watch. Mind blowing suspense and
thrill till the last minute will make you sit tight on your seats is
what the biggest plus point of the movie is. Simple plot with a great
story.
More importantly director does not try to tamper the story to add unwanted masala in the movie just like most other hindi films do. This makes the movie more interesting.
TABU has done a great job with her flourishing acting as IG (Police) and so does AJAY DEVGAN who stands equally well in front of her. His family (SHRIYA SARAN and two children) and RAJAT KAPOOR as TABU's husband have also acted well giving a good support.
The movie also gives a very important message of not to underestimate your opponent. AJAY DEVGAN who is shown as a 4th standard fail, Cable TV line owner and a complete movie buff learns facts of life from movies themselves and gives police a rollercoaster ride during the case investigation. This makes me think... Yes, we can learn from movies too rather than looking at them just from entertainment perspective.
Its indeed very nice to see such kind of movies are now releasing in Hindi film industry. Overall its a great movie and of course 100% worth a watch !!!
