Recovery Console plays a vital role in managing the Android ROM you are running on your phone. One of the important tasks of the recovery console is taking a backup of the Android System. In case of any issues or corruption of the Operating System, it will be definitely possible to restore the phone to the consistent state using the backup taken through custom recovery.  The video below shows my attempt to take a backup of Android System using TWRP Recovery. TWRP is a short form of Team Win Recovery Project . I am currently using a rooted Galaxy Note GT-N7000 running C-ROM .

iOS 8.0.2 now available to download. I updated my iPad Mini-Retina Display with the latest update today morning.  The update fixes various issues. Its really a very good news for Apple fans. iOS8 is now available. I own an iPad Mini with Retina Display for which I received the update on the very first day i.e. 17th Sept 2014. The update shows following information in brief... This update is the biggest since the launch of the App Store, with hundreds of new features including new Messages and Photos features, QuickType keyboard, a new Health app, Family Sharing, iCloud Drive and more.   Below is the screenshot of my iPad Mini... As you can see in the screenshot, the update size is 1.3 GB. It also requires at least 6.9 GB of free storage. I own 16 GB version of iPad Mini and had to delete few apps and photos in order to download and install the update. After the update finished, I again downloaded all the apps which I deleted in order to make room for this huge update.  Overall, it was around 3 hours of work (delete apps + download update + install apps again) for me considering the Internet ...

Samirsinh Dattopadhye has recently announced that with blessings of Parampoojya Sadguru Shri Aniruddha Bapu they have launched the internet television by the name of ‘ Aniruddha TV ’ ( http://www.aniruddha.tv ). It has started its operations from Thursday 28th August 2014 followed by the day of Ganesh Chaturthi and would broadcast the Ganeshotsav to be celebrated at residence of Sadguru Bapu (Aniruddhasinh) . Recently I flashed C-ROM for my rooted Galaxy Note GT-N7000. This ROM is based on Android 4.4.4 KitKat. I must say that it is really an excellent ROM. I am very happy with the overall working of the ROM. Performance is good. Three cheers to the developer of this ROM. The main aspect to metion about this ROM is there are lots of customization options to play with. Just open the System Settings and then you yourself will see the excellency of this ROM. Yes. You heard correct. After Google's announcement of Android L in Google I/O , many developers developed Android L themes so that you can try the look and feel of Android L on your smartphone. Me too tried few such themes. But out of these themes, I feel the below one is perhaps the best theme I have tried. Three cheers to the developer of this theme.
